Walmart just got a little bit nastier thanks to a very bizarre, shocking and toe-curling story. You might want to hold off on shoe shopping after this one.

Associated Press reports that police say Michael Brown pretended to be a podiatrist student at a Walmart in Lincolnton, N.C. on Monday. After convincing an unsuspecting woman named Erica Porras of his credentials, she tried on different pairs of shoes with his assistance. At one point, Brown took pictures of the 37-year-old's foot, put it into his mouth and began licking her toes, according to TIME. This encounter was caught on Walmart's surveillance cameras.

Brown allegedly told Porras, who has two children, that he would pay for her groceries if she kept his naughty toe behavior a secret, but she still called cops. As a result, Brown ran away.

Next, Brown allegedly hit up another Walmart just 15 miles away. There, he met another woman and told her he was doing a survey on the feet of different races and nationalities. The second woman says she took off her shoes for Brown but left him after he asked her to take off her socks.

According to WSOCTV, Brown has received permission to represent himself in court instead of using a court-appointed attorney. The local news station says that Brown wants to plead guilty to assault on a female, "but the judge told him he couldn't do it." Brown also requested a lower bond then the $50,000 set by the judge but was not rewarded with one.

According to WSOCTV, this is not Brown's first time getting in trouble at Walmart. He reportedly has had two other cases that involve women at the discount chain store.

In 2001, Brown was convicted of sexual assault of a woman at knifepoint. He is also a registered sex offender.
