HTC has been rolling out new smartphones as of late, and the latest one looks to be another winner. The HTC One X9 is a new rumored handset from the tech company that's packed with premium features and seeks to conquer the high-end market.

According to a report from Phone Arena, the latest details on the HTC smartphone were leaked at French website Nowhere Else. The Quad HD screen will measure at least five inches with 1440 x 2560 pixels of resolution. Powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor, the One X9 is said to include 4GB of RAM as well as 64GB to 128GB of expandable internal memory.

Other features include a 3500 mAh removable battery, 23MP rear camera and 4MP UltraPixel front camera. A report from Weibo via the Phone Radar revealed that the handset will be offered in a metal build body, equipped with dual HTC BoomSound speakers.

The HTC One X9 is expected to be prices at 2,999 Yuan or $472. No official release date has been confirmed, but Phone Radar said — depending on tests with the new Qualcomm processor — the high-end handset may be ready for launching with the Snapdragon 820 by Jan. 2016.

This upcoming smartphone will likely boost HTC sales along with the newly-released HTC One A9, which has been compared to iPhone 6s in design. The One A9 has encountered some problems in the US though as reports revealed a delay in shipment and Verizon availability.

According to a report from Android Police, while HTC initially allowed pre-orders for the various colors of the HTC One A9, the clients have been informed that shipping schedules will vary according to color and network. The gray and silver unlocked variants for T-Mobile and ATT will ship on Nov. 10, with Sprint orders begin late November. Meanwhile, the gold variant for T-Mobile and ATT begin shipping late November with Sprint delayed to mid-December. For the red version of the smartphone, T-Mobile and ATT ships in early December, while Sprint ships mid-December.

To appease the clients, HTC offered 25 percent off of accessories for the HTC One A9. Verizon compatibility has also been postponed indefinitely. Originally set for December, the company has postponed the date.

"To ensure the best experience for our customers on the Verizon network, we are conducting more extensive testing and certification," the HTC email stated, according to Android Police. "As a result, Verizon compatibility on the HTC One A9 won't be available in December as originally expected. We are working with Verizon to make it available as soon as possible."
