'Finding Carter' Season 2 News: Midseason Trailer Teases Death, Illegal Activity, Return of Crash
MTV on Tuesday released the midseason trailer for Season 2 of "Finding Carter," which reveals a lot more drama to come, including a death, drugs and a few fights.
The new trailer features a lot of fights, secrets coming out in the open, and plenty of changes for the second half of the season. As if Episode 18 wasn't dramatic enough, fans will see a lot more problems arise on the second half of the season, according to MTV.
With recent events, fans have begun to question Carter's (Kathryn Prescott) illegal relationship with her much older boss Jared (Jackson Rathbone).
The trailer reveals that Jared has a criminal past, which Carter's mother Elizabeth (Cynthia Watros) discovers. He also forces Carter's brother Ben (Ben Winchell) to become involved in drug-related activity.
Meanwhile, Carter continues to help Jared host raves at the bar until someone dies at an illegal party. Fans are teased with the death, but aren't shown who the person is.
In another scene, Jared gets violent during an argument with Carter. She can be seen dramatically falling on the floor after being hit.
However, Jared is only one of Carter's problems.
Carter's ex-boyfriend Crash (Caleb Ruminer) returns and wants to get back together with her, but her relationship with Jared will get in the way.
Max (Alex Saxon) is shown getting into two fights. He not only violently confronts his abusive father, but he also goes at it with Gabe (Jesse Henderson), after he admits feelings for Taylor (Anna Jacoby-Heron).
The trailer ends with perhaps the biggest shake up in the series. Life at the Wilson household unravels after a fallout between Carter and her mother. Carter decides to move out of the house and move in with Lori (Milena Govich), the woman who kidnapped Carter and the root of the family's problems.
