'Chicago PD' Season 3 Episode 8 Spoilers: Squad Defends Entire Country in Big Case [Watch]
"Chicago P.D." is all new Wednesday night, when the squad will work together to solve one of their toughest cases this season.
"A dead body and microchips, they're not just defending their city, but the entire country," the narrator said in a trailer for "P.D." Season 3 Episode 8, titled "Forget My Name," posted to the show's Facebook page.
At one point in the promo, it looks as if a cop may have gotten shot at by a suspect. Will the squad lose another important person this season?
The squad already had to deal with losing a close friend at the end of Season 2. Lindsay (Sophia Bush) went on a downward spiral because she could not deal with the guilt of losing someone close to her. Who will be next to lose it if something like that happens again?
Meanwhile, according to the next show's description on TVGuide, "The team discovers the mutilated body of a government official while responding to an informant's tip about an upcoming drug trade. In other events, Burgess (Marina Squerciati) helps plan a surprise for Platt (Amy Morton)."
Along with a body, the squad discovers the man had access to some very important devices. What is on those devices? Will the squad discover a terrorist?
And what does Burgess have planned for Platt? Hopefully, a celebration can bring some relief to the stressful situation the team is about to get into.
In the last episode, according to the synopsis, "Intelligence investigated a planned Colombine-style attack on an elite school and discovers a hidden crime. Olinsky (Elias Koteas) bumps heads with his family over Michelle (Madison McLaughlin). Atwater (Laroyce Hawkins) tries to impress a new mentor."
Tune into NBC on Wednesdays at 11 p.m. ET to catch all new episodes of "Chicago P.D."
