Apparently, players have got Martin Starr to thank for the New Xbox One Experience. At least that's what the comedian claimed in the new Xbox trailer.

The teaser came from Xbox Wire and had Starr taking credit for the revamped Xbox One experience as the "Xbox Innovation Guy".

"Xbox One backwards compatibility is now reality," Starr said in the video. "I just finished a, dare I say, stunning redesign of the Xbox One experience. I just made that happen. Now you can play your Xbox One games on any Windows 10 PC connected to wifi."

He added, "I did it for you."

Taking complete credit might not be accurate, but everything else Starr announced was true. The game-changing new features of the New Xbox One Experience is about to drop, backwards compatibility one of them.

Ahead of the massive update's release date, the Xbox team revealed the first hundred games that will be available for backwards compatibility on the latest generation console, according to a report from Latin Post. Among the titles included are beloved favorites such as "Mass Effect," "Assassin's Creed II," "Fallout 3" and many more.

The complete list of backwards compatible games is available at the official Xbox website.

According to Microsoft employee Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, the global rollout of the much-anticipated update will be at 3:01 a.m. ET/12:01 a.m. PT on Nov. 12. Backwards-compatible titles will be playable a little bit later though after 3:01 p.m./12:01 noon PT.

If the console is Instant-on power mode, the Xbox One will get the update in the background while in Connected Standby mode. Alternatively, if the box is in energy-saving mode, the update will not be automatic and players will have to check manually if it's already available for downloading.

The New Xbox One Experience will be distributed in phases across the world as Hryb explains, "It's important to note that not everyone will get the update at once as it will be deploying globally to the Xbox One audience."

He added, "To start playing your Xbox 360 games on Xbox One after this time, refresh your Game Collection to see your pre-purchased, digital Xbox 360 titles from the Backward Compatible title list in your ready to install queue or simply insert the disc for a supported Xbox 360 title and download the game to start playing it on Xbox One."

While it will not be available to everyone at the same time, all Xbox One console users will be required to update by Nov. 23.
