Guns N’ Roses to Reunite on New Tour With Axl, Slash
The legendary hard rock band from the 1980s Guns N' Roses is about make a serious comeback after over two decades of animosity between the two headliners.
According to an exclusive report by Dish Nation, the band is expected to soon announce the first legs of a new world tour, which will reunite the original members of the band, minus Steven Adler on the drums.
The new tour will reunite the band's original front man Axl Rose with epic guitarist Slash, as well as Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan and drummer Matt Sorum. The group has not been seen together now for over 20 years, since they wrapped up their "Use Your Illusion" tour back on July 17, 1993 in Argentina.
The fallout between Rose and Slash was so intense that even when the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2012, Rose refused to appear at the ceremony with the band. But now, the stars seem to have mended their beef.
"Slash and Axl have verbally agreed to get things together again and reform the original band. The live shows is where they can show the world what they had and also make the greatest earnings," a music insider source told Dish Nation.
It certainly makes sense for them to come back together to cash in on all the success they once had with their epic albums. The band collectively sold over 100 million albums at their peak back in the late 1980s and early 90s.
"Promoters are quietly working away to land opportunities. Details of the reunion are expected to leak out in the next few days. Everyone is expecting huge demand for tickets, but the boys are very humble and are not sure what to expect," the source told Dish.
Although the details have not been officially announced, there have been some rumors floating around that they have been offered tour dates in Australia, Sweden and Portugal. The band's management has not confirmed anything yet.
