Brooks Ayers Never Had Cancer, Sources Confirm
After the "Real Housewives of Orange County" star admitted that he lied about some things regarding his health condition, which he previously revealed to be cancer, Brooks Ayers has now been bombarded with rumors claiming that he never even had cancer in the first place.
The rumor that Ayers, known to be Vicki Gunvalson's partner had been lying about having cancer had long been existing however it was just recently that the rumors were starting to be backed up by proof especially since Ayers himself released a statement saying that he fabricated documents regarding his health condition.
"Words cannot express the deep regret that I have in fabricating documents to 'prove' to the world that I, in fact, have cancer. What I did was wrong and inexcusable. I acted alone, without Vicki's knowledge, to produce documents for a reality TV show in hopes of putting doubts about my cancer to rest," Ayers said in a statement obtained by E! News on Wednesday.
"I never intended to disclose my actual medical records or details about my private and personal medical history, thus the rationalization of presenting documents that weren't true simply for a 'storyline' for the show," he added.
However, the reality star didn't explicitly mention that he, in fact, lied about having cancer and was not diagnosed with the disease at all. In fact, Ayers said, "From this day forward, my own personal journey with this disease will remain private as I initially intended over a year ago."
The most recent development in the allegations was that a source from E! News claimed that Ayers never even had the disease. "Brooks never had cancer. He uses it as an excuse to get his way about whatever he is trying to accomplish. He used it in the past and is using it now."
Meanwhile, Ayers' co-star Meghan King Edmonds recently released a statement in response to Ayers' confession saying that "It wasn't easy exposing a lie about something that is so important to so many of us. It is time for all of us to move on and get to work in a positive way to help in the fight," she said as quoted by Entertainment Tonight.
The news outlet further reports that Ayers and Gunvalson broke up in August after dating on and off since 2011. Just recently, Gunvalson posted on Twitter writing, "I don't talk to him nor will I ever speak to him again. This man is sick," she said as she explicitly declared her disinterest with her ex-boyfriend.
