Karrueche Tran recently hinted she doesn't believe Chris Brown's recent comments about looking for a "soul mate."

The "Loyal" singer recently shared on Twitter, "Being single is great if you want to be a horn-dog, but it's boring when you want a soul-mate."

Brown's comment prompted his ex to respond, "Laughing at his hypocrisy." The post has since been deleted according to the IBTimes reports. 

Tran and Brown split earlier this year, after it became public knowledge that he had fathered a child with another woman behind her back. Since then, the two have shared a series of angry posts on social media, rehashing their fraught relationship.

A source close to the model recently told reporters she's convinced Brown wants to reunite with her, but she remains apprehensive about that idea.

"[Tran] thinks that [Brown] genuinely misses her, but he also f*cked up big time, so its next to impossible for her to go back to him, much less trust him," a source said.

Brown's heartfelt sentiment came just days after he and Rick Ross released the music video for their collaborative track, "Sorry," which many are convinced is an ode to Tran and the couple's stormy history together.

Not long ago, Tran said in an interview that all her struggles with Brown have left her mentally incapable of taking up with anyone else.

"I haven't really explored dating yet and I'm not sure if I'm mentally there just because of all the stuff that I've been through," she said. "It's a lot to open up to somebody. I think people are intimated by the drama (from my past relationship) and not wanting to deal with it because it's an ongoing story. I'm very guarded and very too myself."

Just last month, she and Brown openly feuded, after she revealed in another interview that she feels her relationship with him has "affected her work."

Brown later angrily slammed his ex over the comment and strongly suggested she "thank him" for the career she now has.

"Let's be clear about it there would be no Karrueche Tran if she didn't date Chris Brown," sources close to Brown told Urban Islandz. "The world would not know who Karrueche Tran is if she didn't injected herself into Chris life after the Rihanna incident."
