GTA 5 Online Gameplay: Why Rockstar Games Removed Rooftop Rumble Mission From Grand Theft Auto V, Human Bullet Feature Discovered [VIDEO]
A feature on Grand Theft Auto Online is missing right now, but luckily for gamers, another weird feature has recently been discovered.
The Rooftop Rumble mission disappeared from Grand Theft Auto Online since at least yesterday.
"We are currently working on fixing an issue with Rooftop Rumble, and expect it to be available again within the next week," Rockstar Games said via Rockstar Support. "Apologies for any inconvenience."
The game developer did not give any more details about the "issue," but some suspect it may have something to do with a glitch highlighted in a YouTube video uploaded on March 17.
"This is a really cool and new glitch that GTA 5 1.11 Patch brings you! It is kind of related to the other Rooftop Rumble glitch way back before 1.03 and is highly affective!," the video description reads. "With this glitch you can complete Rooftop Rumble in seconds and also be able to replay this mission and rinse and repeat this glitch!"
"The mission 'Rooftop Rumble' for #GTAOnline has been removed due to excessive replays and because players were getting easy cash and RP," Lance Romero, a Twitter user, suggested.
Meanwhile, gamers can perhaps find entertainment in a new trend named The Human Bullet.
"These players are leaping out of helicopters and trying to land on people," Gaming Blend explains. "...There is a way for these jumpers to kill their targets, though. They cause significant damage to cars that they land on. "
The method is reportedly not the most effetive way of killing someone as it reportedly tends to take multiple tries and "doesn't ... cause much damage at all," according to Gaming Blend. Still, the comedy and ludicrous factor may count for something.
"I was lots of fun, We made a Team Deathmatch for next time, Each time the divers died they had to get a new helicopter and fly over so it took a few minutes so next time I should have more successful hits and We are going to set up more things to hit," the inventor said via Reddit.
