After Apple managed to patch vulnerabilities in iOS 9 with their updates 9.1 and 9.2, jailbreakers are looking for ways to exploit the new versions, and they appear likely to find solutions by the end of the year.

Pangu was the team of jailbreakers that was ultimately able to create a jailbreak tool for iOS 9. Now that team is continuing to work on tools for iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2, Neuro Gadget reports.

Right now, Pangu is offering a way to jailbreak iOS 9.1, but the team says it is not the final solution they will offer users.

The current solution is a TaiG 9 beta tool and a Semi Jailbreak online script. Together, these two options offer a partial jailbreak of iOS 9.1. This is not Pangu's fully functional attempt at a jailbreak, and it is not guaranteed to work for all users.

Meanwhile, Apple has disabled the option for users to downgrade back to iOS 9 if they have already upgraded to iOS 9.1. By upgrading to iOS 9.1, the iOS 9 jailbreak tool is disabled.

In order to use the partial jailbreak for iOS 9.1, users should go to the official semi jailbreak website. Users will need to visit this website on the Safari browser, and they may wish to bookmark this page as well.

On the site, users will click on the iOS 9.1 jailbreak button to begin the jailbreak process. Before the process is complete, users will be rerouted to the installation page, where they will install the SemiJB application. Clicking exit completes the process.

Finally, users need to install and open the vShare Semi jailbreak app and the SemiJB app. With these apps, users will have access to the online version of Cydia.

Meanwhile, Pangu will continue to look for a full jailbreak solution for both iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2.
