It is about to be a tough day for the "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" detectives as Jake gets assigned baby duty for Terry's pregnant wife.

Episode 8, titled "Ava," will air on broadcast network Fox this Sunday, Nov. 22 at 8:30 p.m. EST, according to TV Guide.

Apparently, there is nothing scarier for the detectives at the Nine-Nine than the thought of a baby coming. Even with all the cases they work everyday in the bustling metropolis of deviants, the thought of a baby coming will still make them cringe in horror.

According to Spoilers Guide, Jake gets sidelined with baby duty while Terry and Rosa have to visit Rikers Island to get more information about the Douglass Street murders. But that does not mean actual baby duty, but rather Terry's pregnant wife Sharon duty.

Suffice it to say that the situation could not have been more perfectly setup by Terry, if of course that was his intention (probably not). The baby could come at any minute now and Terry is not taking any chances. So when he has to be out, he wants his wife tended to. Period.

So of course Sharon's water breaks while Terry is out and it is up to Jake to either get her to a doctor or deliver a baby. He will likely choose the first option, but he may be forced into doing something he does not want to do.

Nevertheless, the situation incites a crisis at the precinct and all hands are on deck.

In other news at the station, an Internet outage forces Amy and Charles to do all their paperwork by hand in order to avoid an overflow of prisoners in the bullpen.

Fans will also get to see Holt do a little squealing of his own when he is forced to confront an ex-boyfriend. Needless to say, the situation gets a little awkward, coupled with all the craziness of the precinct.
