The eighth episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." this Season 3, "Many Heads, One Tale," shows that the FitzSimmons tandem is finally on its way into becoming a reality.

Leo and Jemma kissed

Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) have shared their first kiss on this episode, Comic Vine noted. In a heated moment, Fitz was able to act on what he was feeling for his lab partner. Right after they kissed, they were able to find a lead into their next mission. This just means that they are not really "cursed" as what Fitz thought them to be. It showed that with them working harmoniously, difficult tasks become manageable for them.

Although the two scientists will be working on to save Will, whom Jemma fell in love with while she was trapped in the other planet, their relationship will be more than platonic.

Executive producers Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen already shared on Entertainment Weekly that this episode is the moment all FitzSimmons' shippers, including them, have been waiting for.

"Their relationship will visibly change forever," Whedon shared.

"This is the episode where they both will express their feelings finally about everything that's gone down," Whedon added.

"For a while, that was the beautiful thing about the FitzSimmons love story is that, to everyone around them, it's so clearly obvious that they should be together, but to Fitz and Simmons, it seems like the most absurd idea ever to be anything beyond friends, working partners and each other's best friend," Tancharoen stated.

ATCU's secret

Meanwhile, the team learned that ATCU has some secrets.

Agent Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki) has found some fish oil pills in the facility where Andrew (Blair Underwood) was supposed to be contained. Comic Vine noted that both Bobbi and Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) discovered that Rosalind Price's (Constance Zimmer) organization is trying to "weed out" these Inhumans by exposing them to the Terrigen in the fish oil. As seen in the previous season, Terrigen enhances the abilities of the Inhumans to make them very powerful.

Aside from that, Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) found out that Price knew about the TAHITI intel from Gideon Malick (Powers Boothe).

Grant Ward's mission

With Malick on his side, Grant Ward's (Brett Dalton) plan to bring down Coulson's agency will become easier as it already involves powerful beings that he and his new HYDRA currently lacks. Moreover, it seems the monstrous Lash may also be on their side now.

Watch next Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC how S.H.I.E.L.D. will try to overcome these new hurdles.
