The promo may be short but showcases plenty of what fans enjoy about the Marvel series, which includes plenty of British humor and plenty of fighting scenes between Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) and her enemies. The tough and skilled SSR agent wittily states that she could "do with a hobby" when asked is she's going to punch all of LA by Reggie Austin's Jason Wilkes.
The video also hints at a romance between Peggy and Wilkes, a scientist and ally to the agent.
Fans also get a look at other cast members like James D'Arcy, who plays Jarvis, who arrives in Hollywood alongside Peggy and can be heard asking "Ready for another adventure Miss Carter?"
Returning for Season 2 with Atwell and D'Arcy, are Enver Gjokaj, portraying Chief Daniel Sousa, Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Chad Michael Murray as Chief Jack Thompson and Bridget Regan as assassin Dottie Underwood.
On Nov. 17, Marvel announced the official premiere date and released the synopsis for the entire season.
"Dedicated to the fight against new Atomic Age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home -- and perhaps even a new love -- she's about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect," reads the synopsis.
Season 2 of "Agent Carter" will premiere with a two-hour episode on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 on ABC.
