‘Scream Queens’ Season 1, Episode 9 Recap: Red Devil Exposed, Chanel Attempts Murder
Fox's "Scream Queens" has been one twist after another, but with last night's episode, fans finally got some long awaited answers. Yet, those answers also brought up new and bigger questions.
According to Refinery 29, the show took a new spin last night in Season1, Episode 9, revealing a Red Devil killer only to upend the entire situation.
Chanel (Emma Roberts) seemed to be gloating innocently when she announced that Chad (Glen Powell) had invited her to his family's compound in the Hampton's for Thanksgiving. The Kappa girls were too worried to care about Chanel's exciting news, so they turned instead to listen to a few ghost stories from the new house mother.
Fans later found out Hester (Lea Michele) had decided to fake a pregnancy, which in turn led Chad to admit his infidelity to Chanel. This, of course, caused some sour feelings. Hester only faked the pregnancy news so that Chad would invite her to the Hampton's instead of Chanel. Without a second thought, Chanel gave Hester a violent shove down the spiral staircase, leading fans to believe that she had killed her.
Meanwhile, Boone (Nick Jonas) returned. As it turns out, he is not gay. In fact, he returns because he is in love with Zayday (Keke Palmer), but she was not having it. She loves Earl Grey (Lucien Laviscount), and she let Boone know where her real interests lie.
In a shocking moment, fans found out that Boone was one of the Red Devil killers, when he put on his costume and stabbed Grey on the sorority lawn.
The episode then showed Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) revealing to Grace (Skyler Samuels) and Zayday that Sophia Doyle (McKaley Miller) gave birth to two bathtub babies.
Finally, the episode returned to Boone in costume. He was joined by a Red Devil accomplice, in costume and unidentified at this point. He yelled at Gigi (Nasim Pedrad) that she is not his mother. Just then, the other Red Devil stabbed him and put him down as another body in the victim book.
