A lot of us are thankful for so many reasons during Thanksgiving, whether it's the gift of health, family or maybe, wealth.

But when kids were asked by Jimmy Kimmel on what they are thankful for this holiday, some of them include garbanzo beans, dog, and family as their blessings and the responses kids gave range from adorable to hilarious.

According to Today, the comedian decided to ask kids in Hollywood for the things that they are thankful for now that Thanksgiving is coming.

"Thanksgiving is obviously the time to thank for the many blessings that we have... I think it's especially important that thanksgiving is not just about tracing your hand to make a turkey," Kimmel explained prior to the segment. "It's time to give thanks."

The funnyman sent a reporter to The Grove and there, she roamed and asked kids: "What are you thankful for?"

One girl said she is thankful for her dog and her brothers. But when she was asked who between her pet and brothers is her favorite pick, she, quite reluctantly but honestly, answered "my dog."

Meanwhile, one kid loves to give it back to nature. Aside from saying that he appreciates his family for being there, he also expressed gratitude to the plants that give sustenance to human life.

When asked which plants, in particular, he is thankful for, the little kid showed no bias. "Really, all plants, because plants give us air," he explained. He is also thankful for his dog who "pooped out earplugs" for him.

Just when you thought these kids have already mentioned the weirdest things they are thankful for, you are wrong. One kid even mentioned that the thing she is most thankful for this holiday are "sushi and garbanzo beans."

One guy likes to keep it real. Just like any other human in the planet, he said "I'm thankful for having food," then he dished out a long list of food he appreciates so much, just like turkey, gravy, chicken, fried chicken, nachos, burritos, chili fries, ice cream, cake, a cupcake... the list goes on!

Some kids, meanwhile, wanted to thank "technology" and of course, "Minecraft" and "iPads."

But one notable answer from the bunch included "not flying American airlines, I hate them... Delta. Always fly Delta."

This was the first time Kimmel did the segment. Two of his famous segments that include kids are done during Halloween and Christmas. According to Time, kids lose their mind when Kimmel asks parents to tell their kids that they ate their Halloween candy and he has done it for five years already. Meanwhile, "I Gave My Kids a Terrible Present" is another hit for the show whenever Kimmel asks parents to prank their kids with a tasteless Christmas gift.
