Selena Gomez Desperate to Sell 'Stalker' Cursed Calabasas Estate
Selena Gomez is desperate to distance herself from the "stalker-plagued" Calabasas mansion she purchased and moved into just last year.
Yahoo! reports the "Come Get It" singer has put the three acre, 7,200 square feet, five bedrooms, six bathroom estate on the market for $4.5 million.
Almost from the day she commenced calling the property home, Gomez has known drama with the estate. Back in March, just days after she had officially closed on her $3.7 million purchase and moved in, a stalker came calling.
He was jailed for a couple of days, but within hours of his release was back at the residence. Ultimately, he was sentenced to six months in a treatment facility, including 30 days on lockdown, and was prohibited from approaching Gomez or her home for a decade.
Over the entire year she resided there, reports are she called 911 at least three more times and also installed a big perimeter gate.
Even before then, Gomez has known tough luck when it comes to settling in her dream home. A few months prior, a 19-year-old man was busted creeping around her first home, a six-bedroom, eight-bathroom house in the Valley community of Tarzana. Eventually, she sold that property to Iggy Azalea and Nick Young last fall.
The entire ordeal has understandably left Gomez a bit flustered, but relief may soon be on the way.
Word is she and on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber are planning to exchange gifts this holiday season and were even hoping to spend some together before it became apparent their busy schedules probably won't allow it.
"They want to exchange gifts at some point," a source said of the two, who were again romantically linked as recently as this summer when they were spied hanging out poolside together at a Beverly Hills hotel.
