In this week of CBS' "The Young and the Restless," spoilers suggest that the truth may not always set someone free. In fact, it could even be the reason why one will be imprisoned, just like in Devon Hamilton's case, where he is faced for the first time about the truth about his father.

There are times when secrets are buried for so long that they won't be discovered at all. However, most of the time, secrets, despite how deep they are buried with lies, can spring up in just a snap.

Soap Shows reveals that the secret of Neil Winters will finally be revealed. However, Neils ex-girlfriend Gwen Randall, will not reveal her ex's secret even though they had an ugly break up and it is just obvious that Gwen could do it to ruin Neil's life. Surprisingly, Neil will do it himself.

Although it might seem heroic for Neil to finally be a man and tell Devon that he witnessed what happened to Devon's wife falling as well as kidnapping her and holding her hostage in Genoa City, the truth will however push Devon to press charges.

And so, the drama goes on as Neil faces being in prison for the crime he committed despite his last resort to attend to the medical needs of Devon's wife, Soap Shows reports. Anger and bitterness will take over Devon's mind after having a hard life in prison and losing his wife.

Furthermore, Devon's actions are natural including the charges he can file towards his father. However, it is also possible that he will cover everything up, which would create more drama for the series, Soap Shows suggests.

The hard truth about his father and the justice he wants for his wife is the toughest decision Devon would be making. However, Hilary Curtis' is slowing him down.

Meanwhile, a report from Celeb Dirty Laundry reveals that looking from Hilary's point of view, her struggle with Devon and true feelings for Neil can destroy her as well.

As she reveals to Lily Ashby how she truly feels about the two men, the truth may or may not push her to fight for Neil against Devon or just simply stand back and let Devon do what he needs to do to continue living.

More will be revealed in "The Young and the Restless" which airs weekdays on CBS.
