"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." ninth episode this Season 3, "Closure," may bring Phil Coulson to a state he is angry enough to be ready to eliminate Ward (Brett Dalton).

Although Coulson (Clark Gregg) is very patient even with the bad guys, but his temperament may change on Ward (Brett Dalton) as his former agent, who was actually a spy and HYDRA member seems to succeed on his goal this season.

Comic Book noted that the Marvel Television and ABC Network-produced series already released the synopsis for the "Closure" episode. The teaser reads: "Grant Ward's campaign for revenge brings the S.H.I.E.L.D. team to their knees, and Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) proves he will do anything to settle the score."

Did Ward really manage to create a big damage at the former agency he worked with? This must be truly gratifying for Ward if he did.

Dalton explained on Comic Vine why his character was really determined to bring down Coulson's agency.

"This is the yin to Coulson's yang. This is HYDRA in Ward's vision," Dalton said.

"S.H.I.E.L.D. can be directly responsible, in his eyes, for two failed relationships that he's tried to have which were very important to him -- one with Skye and one with Agent 33. If it weren't for S.H.I.E.L.D. meddling in all his affairs, he'd be a much happier man. So there's an axe to grind," the actor added.

Malick's Help

On the previous episode, "Many Heads One Tale," Grant's team further strengthens when Gideon Malick (Powers Boothe) became his huge partner in this goal of taking out S.H.I.E.L.D., Comic Vine noted. Malick, who also knows about the powerful TAHITI Intel, as mentioned by Rosalind Price (Constance Zimmers) to Coulson last episode, will be a formidable force for S.H.I.E.L.D. to overcome. Previous episodes showed in Season 1 showed that Project TAHITI can save or bring back to life even the almost dead or dead agents like Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) and Coulson.

Aside from his knowledge about the TAHITI or Terrestrialized Alien Host Integrative Tissue I, he also knew about the monolith that transported Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) to the other dimension.

Malick told Ward that a stronger HYDRA will emerge involving powerful beings that the old one did not have.

Watch on Dec. 1, Nov. at 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC how Ward will get his revenge on S.H.I.E.L.D.
