The Cupcake ATM has come to New York City, and it's a dream come true for cupcake lovers.

On Tuesday, the Sprinkles Cupcake chain that is in Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Beverly Hills, arrived in Manhattan, bringing with it a pink cupcake ATM that is open 24 hours. The cupcake ATM is located on Lexington Avenue between 60th and 61st street. The founder of Sprinkles Cupcakes, Charles Nelson, says that the machine lets you buy fresh, gourmet cupcakes with a push of a button. The ATM is restocked every few hours.

There are three things that you need to work the ATM: an appetite, a love of cupcakes, and a credit or debit card.

"You get to watch the robotic arm go and take the cupcakes and then the door opens and there's four cupcakes just right in front of you," Mara Webber of Sprinkles Cupcake said according to Huffington Post.

Customers can buy up to four cupcakes at a time, at $4.25 each. The process is a piece of cake: touch the screen; choose from nine flavors (black and white, chocolate coconut, Cuban coffee, dark chocolate, lemon meringue, red velvet, strawberry, vanilla or vanilla milk chocolate); and then swipe your card, ABC News reported.

Cookies and brownies are expected to be offered through the machine by next month.

The cupcake ATM stocks up to 760 cupcakes with up to 20 varieties. It even offers two flavors for dogs: two mini-cupcakes sugar free with yogurt frosting.

One customer likened the experience to that of "being in Willy Wonka."
