Will Burger King Restaurants' Whoppers Be On Kanye West and Kim Kardashians' Wedding Menu?
Have it your way, KimYe! Fast food chain Burger King has offered to cater the upcoming wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
According to Global Grind, the Home of the Whopper issued a statement about offering their culinary services for the Kardashian-West's upcoming nuptials.
"Burger King Corp. is familiar with the recent news stories regarding Kanye West and Kim Kardashian," a company spokesperson said in a statement. "We are unaware of any purchase of BURGER KING® restaurants made by either Mr. West or Ms. Kardashian, but we're available to cater the wedding!"
The reason for Burger King's generosity? Kanye bought a series of Burger King restaurants for Kim as a wedding present. (How romantic!) According to Hot New Hip-Hop, Kanye thinks that this series of restaurants will secure Kim's future and will be able to provide her with sustainable income after her reality show fame is long gone. West bought the franchises in Europe, however, so only those on foreign shores will be able to appreciate the fruits of his labors.
This is could be a smart move, financially speaking, especially in the wake of his upcoming two-year probation for assault. It should be interesting to see if guests at the Kardashian-West wedding will be asked to choose between a Whopper or an Original Chicken Sandwich from the menu.
Kanye West is one of the best-selling artists in popular music. West has won a total of 21 Grammy Awards, making him one of the most awarded artists of all-time and the most awarded artist of anyone his age. Time has also named West one of the 100 most influential people in the world, and he is also listed in a number of Forbes annual lists. An outspoken and controversial celebrity, West has often been the source of incidents at award shows, and his flamboyant fashion sense has also attracted media attention and set him apart from other rappers. West runs his own record label GOOD Music and has directed several short films.
