'Criminal Minds' Season 11 Episode 9 Spoilers: BAU Tackles Online Drug Ring, Dirty Dozen in 'Internal Affairs'
The BAU will go on an intense mission to stop an underground internet drug ring, while they continue their hunt for the Dirty Dozen in next week's all-new episode of "Criminal Minds."
Fans will have to wait until Dec. 2 for another new episode of the long running CBS drama. However, a synopsis of the episode, which is titled "Internal Affairs," reveals that the Dirty Dozen will have a major storyline.
"After two undercover DEA agents are murdered and a third goes missing, the BAU joins the NSA to investigate whether an underground Internet drug syndicate is involved. Also, Hotch hopes the team's work with the NSA brings them closer to finding the 'Dirty Dozen' hitmen ring," the synopsis reads, according to CarterMatt.
Meanwhile, Garcia (Kirsten Simone Vangsness) will face grave danger when she becomes the Dirty Dozen's next target, after they realize how close she gets to exposing their identifies. As a result, the FBI technical analyst will need to enroll in the witness protection program.
In the meantime, Hotch (Thomas Gibson) will try to recruit the National Security Agency (NSA) to help the FBI unit crack the Dirty Dozen case.
Later in the season, Rossi (Joe Mantegna) may get another chance at love, when he reunites with his second ex-wife. Although he has vowed to never remarry after his three divorces, it appears that he might have a change of heart when he reconnects with Hayden (Paulette Ivory), the mother of his daughter Joy (Amber Stevens).
"We're talking about, since Joy is in the picture, her mom being in the picture again as well," executive producer Erica Messer teased, reports TV Guide. "We haven't ironed all of that out yet ... but that's been a point of discussion that we've had. That might be a nice thing for Rossi to find later in life, to actually find that happiness that he was looking for so much when he was younger."
Episode 9 of Season 11 of "Criminal Minds" will premiere on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
