Seattle Seahawks officials are rumored to be growing increasingly concerned that star quarterback Russell Wilson's ongoing relationship with singer Ciara may be too "celebrity."

Roughly six months after signing the veteran signal caller to a four-year, $88 million extension, the New York Post reports team management is none too enthused about his well-documented relationship with the hip-hop songstress.

The perennial NFC West powers have gotten off to a staggering 5-5 start this season, with Wilson rarely resembling the savvy, poised quarterback he proved to be while leading the Seahawks to their recent Super Bowl glory.

Several media outlets have recently touched upon the growing friction between Wilson and team management. In addition, the Post reports Doug Hendrickson, the agent for All-Star running back and teammate Marshawn Lynch, recently posted in a since deleted tweet, "pull you head out of your...."

After they stepped out together for the first time at a White House state dinner in April, the couple have been steadily seen side-by-side. Between red-carpet events and Mexican getaways, the pair have carved out a niche for themselves as the sports world's new "It couple," despite claims that they have remained celibate.

Controversy surrounding their relationship may soon rise even further. Ciara is now rumored to be cheating on Wilson with rap star ex-boyfriend Future, who is also the father of her young son.

The two are reported to have been regularly hooking up in secret all across the country, from New York to Los Angeles to Las Vegas to Texas.

Critics of the singer have long argued she has simply been using Wilson for more publicity. They point out that since the two became an item, she has been more in demand than ever before.
