Hollywood Girls Night Out: Adele, Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone in NYC
When celebrities get together, it almost seems surreal for ordinary people, but for Adele, Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone, last Monday night was just a regular girls night out as the trio were spotted having dinner in New York City.
Adele who just recently released her latest album "25" and was a guest performer on "Saturday Night Live" with Jimmy Fallon was in the city together with "The Amazing Spiderman" actress Stone and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" star Lawrence. The three power women were all in the same city and apparently decided to have an A-list dinner together.
E! News reported that that trio dined at the Cosme Mexican restaurant in Manhattan on Monday. The three Hollywood stars were even photographed in the same car together as they arrived at the restaurant greeted by numerous photographers.
The report further revealed that it was an assistant that reserved a table for the award-winning singer and actresses who all dined a scrumptious duck for dinner. Although it was unknown what could the reason be behind their outing, many speculated that the three were just really good friends and even planned their outing beforehand.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the reunion of Adele, Lawrence and Stone were not a shock since Adele and Lawrence were previously spotted dining at the same restaurant arriving in different groups.
The publication speculated that Adele and Lawrence chatted during that time and planned another dinner with Stone, which happened on Monday. Lawrence had been known to have a handpicked circle of friends and revealed why in a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly when she was titled as the publication's "Entertainer of the Year."
"The moment I feel like someone is using me or is in it for the wrong reasons, I have zero guilt about just cutting them the f**k out of my life," Lawrence told Entertainment Weekly. "My b*******t detector is phenomenal. None of my friends b******t me. Everything in my life has to be real," she added.
Lawrence, 25, was awarded as the "Entertainer of the Year" for Entertainment Weekly for having achieved great heights in her acting career after only being in the business at a young age.
"It's crazy," Lawrence continued. "I signed on to these projects when I was 20 years old. I remember being like, 'Oh my God, I'm going to be 25 when I'm finished. It seemed so far away."
Lawrence was nominated for an Oscar in 2010 for "Winter's Bone" and was the star of the boxoffice franchise "The Hunger Games." She also starred as Mystique in the "X-Men" series.
