The Walking Dead's season 4 finale airs tonight on AMC at 9/8c. According to the show's producers and stars, nobody is prepared for what's in store.

"Season 4's finale is nothing you're expecting," Danai Gurira (Michonne) told Digital Spy. "I've read all predictions and none of them are right. No one's going to be able to figure out this ending so it's going to be a really exciting thing to watch people respond to!"

Could love be in the works for Michonne? Fans are calling for Richonne, or perhaps an affair with Daryl Dixon.

"I just appreciate that people want Michonne to get some, you know?" Gurira said.

Despite some of the last episodes showing signs of hope, the season 4 finale is shaping up to be a violent affair, according to Scott M. Gimple, executive producer, and Robert Kirkman, comic book creator, executive producer and writer.

"I would expect a very high level of deadliness," Kirkman told The Hollywood Reporter. "Our season finale is not going to disappoint anyone; we've got some big stuff planned."

"It's pretty deadly," Gimple added. "There will be some very difficult, shaking moments for these characters. Everything they know is shaken."

Michael Cudlitz (Abraham) agreed that the episode is graphic.

"The season finale is pretty damn bloody," he said. "It's bloody and deadly."

As has been promised since before the season's premiere, Rick Grimes will have face his biggest obstacle yet.

"...something happens in the finale that when I read it, I called Scott Gimple, the showrunner, because we've always been incredibly responsible with the violence in this show. And I just wanted to ask, 'Is this a step too far?'" Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick, told New York Post. "...The thing that happens [addresses] that question of, can we ever come back, and can we ever be the same people we once were. Certainly, [the question of] how Rick lives from this point onwards is resolved."

Lincoln also teased that the Claimers may meet up with Rick in the finale.

Fans are going to want to stay tuned until the very end as the best part of the episode reportedly comes in the show's last line.

"...the last line in the episode gave me chills when I first read itt," Greg Nicotero, executive producer, told THR. "I think people are going to love it. People are going to feel like they went on an amazing journey, and all we've done is open a new door to a new journey. The threat level is high. It's suspenseful, thrilling and exciting."
