Watch: 'GTA 5' Mod Revives 'Crash Bandicoot' [Video]
In an attempt to revive the "Crash Bandicoot" series, Pinkman, an avid YouTuber, created a video of what the game might look like now if Naughty Dog continued its saga instead of leaving the last version in 2008.
"Grand Theft Auto 5" played a big role on the video as some of its scenes were used in the montage to represent the "Crash Bandicoot" by masking their characters with Bandicoots. Subpar as it may sound, the main character, in particular, was masked with a Bandicoot character and went around smashing things using a baseball bat.
Game Rant said that for "Crash Bandicoot" fans, the video was more than enough to revive what seems to have taken ages before being mentioned again in the gaming world. The news outlet also warned viewers that the said video is merely a representation of what could happen if ever there's a new "Crash Bandicoot" coming out, conceptualized on a "Grand Theft Auto 5" mode. There is neither an announcement of a new "Crash Bandicoot Game" so far.
"Crash Bandicoot" during its time is a PlayStation exclusive, and, somehow, fans are hopeful that Naughty Dog will find the inspiration to bring back the game to PlayStation 4.
Meanwhile, Rockstar Games has given its fans a reason to be excited as they recently announced the coming of great contents for the "Grand Theft Auto Online." According to Game Rant, the "Lowriders Update" will bring some interesting stuff for the game such as new customization for vehicles, additional bouncing cars as well as the scary Adversary mode of the game. Rockstar is also planning on including the American Football-themed mode in celebration of Thanksgiving.
Rockstar also introduces the "Running Back" game mode as a driving challenge that enables gamers to create a team of four to eight players, where one of them will be chosen as the runner. The challenge is to reach the end of the straight road while dodging the other team's efforts to block your path.
The Runner will ride the Benefactor Panto while the rest of the team will ride their BF Bifta. Some of the locations include the La Mesa Bridge, Raton Canyon Bridge and the Zancudo Tunnel. Rockstar also confirmed that the spooky Adversary mode will remain as an added feature for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Are you excited to hear when will a "Crash Bandicoot" game is in development? When do you think will Naughty Dog create a new episode?
