News and pictures have been rolling in from the set of "The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist" by film director James Wan. The production seems to be going along smoothly and the movie is no doubt poised to scare the pants off audiences worldwide.

According to Coming Soon, the film is yet another true account from the chronicles of real-life ghost-hunters and self-proclaimed demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren.

Suffice it to say that the Warrens have a long history with investigating paranormal activity around the world in the '70s, which were made famous following the infamous Amityville haunting case that was later immortalized in popular fiction as a novel and a movie.

The film is a follow up and direct sequel to the 2013 smash hit "The Conjuring." Although there has been a prequel released named "Annabelle," this film continues the story of the Warrens and their paranormal cases.

The case that this film is portraying is about a woman who desperately needs their help solving a mystery where her daughter is inexplicably tormented by a supernatural presence. She is obviously at a loss for what to do next, so that is why the Warrens have come in to investigate and ultimately eradicate the supernatural threat.

Fans should be aware that not all of their cases had happy endings.

This case in particular took place in England and photos from the set were uploaded to Twitter by Wan. Fans can clearly see that the set and actors are decked out with traditional attire from the era and there are a few in particular that really catch fans attention.

The various pictures include shots with Wan posing with series stars Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga and sequel star Simon McBurney ("Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation").
