Rappers Jay Z and Drake are going cultural and going at it over art?

Perezhilton writes that even though Drakes new "girlfriend" Rihanna is Jay Z's mentor, that didn't stop the 27-year-old from dissing the rap mogul.

During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Drake went after Shawn Corey Carter or Mr. Beyonce saying, "It's like Hov can't drop bars these days without at least four art references. I would love to collect [art] at some point, but I think the whole Rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny."

It didn't take too long for Hove to fire back a response. Jay Z, 44, is using his new track titled "We Made It," to give his response. In the song, Jay Z raps, "Sorry Mrs. Drizzy for so much art talk," he says on the track. "Silly me, rappin' 'bout s**t that I really bought - while these rappers rap about guns that they ain't shot - and a bunch of other silly s**t that they ain't got."

50 Cent's Comments

During his interview on the Russ Parr Morning Show, 50 Cent said he believed that Drake and Jay Z's feud is just in the early stages, reports HNHH.

While the ball is now in Drake's court as the world awaits his next move, 50 Cent has recently given his two cents on the issue saying, ""I think it's just getting started because we didn't actually hear any verses or rap from Drake," "But you know what? It's interesting. I think you're supposed to rap about things that are in your actual life. But those are laws that were a part of our culture when I actually came in and fell in love with it. But it's old school."

It'll be interesting to see how the two rappers will smooth this out because in the same Rolling Stone interview, Drake goes as far as saying about Kanye and Hove, "Those two are gods to me."
