Danny Ross, a former Rockstar employee, hinted that there might be a "Red Dead Redemption 2" in the works.

On his official Reddit account, he replied to a question asking what Rockstar has been developing lately. He answered, "Really? D****ss. Really? Two." If the acronym of his statement, RDD, is any indication of the "Red Dead Redemption 2" coming, then fans can expect the game to be released soon.

According to Attack of the Fan Boy, Ross is still in touch with some of the employees of Rockstar, and it will not be hard for him to get some information as he maintains a good relationship with them.

Currently, the management of Rockstar has not given any official statement if they are really working on the "Red Dead Redemption 2." The developer's last game release has been the "Grand Theft Auto V," and any indication of a "Red Dead" sequel may have to come in a different title.

The original "Red Dead Redemption" has been followed by the "Red Dead Revolver." In a report by the WCCF Tech, Rockstar's subsidiary company Take-Two Interactive has announced the development of some unnamed games to be released soon.

In an official statement released by Karl Slatoff, president of Take-two Interactive, he said, "Our worldwide development teams are working on unannounced projects, including new intellectual properties, and offerings from our established franchises."

As early as December last year, a Neogaf user hinted that Rockstar had been developing a sequel to "Red Dead Redemption" for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There were no details indicated, but a co-op was expected to be included in the game.

Gamingbolt expressed how the "Red Dead Redemption" made a name for itself as it already earned its own circle of devoted fans, just like the famous "Fallout" series. Unfortunately, the game is just one of the many series that was so well-loved by its fans but left by its own developers.

"Red Dead Redemption" is an open-world game with a cowboy-themed concept. It was first released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 18, 2010. The game was developed by Rockstar and published by Rockstar Games.
