The waiver wire is absolutely critical for Fantasy Football owners everywhere. Staying on top of free agency can make or break your team every week. Disappointing play and injuries often lead to Fantasy Football owners checking their waiver wire to help aid their roster week in and week out.

Here are five players you should consider singing off the waiver wire this week.

1. Spencer Ware

Don't look now, but the Kansas City Chiefs currently have the second longest win streak in the entire NFL. On top of that, they are winning without star running back Jamaal Charles, who is out for the season. Backup running back Spencer Ware is playing fantastic lately with a team leading four rushing touchdowns. Ware has accumulated 210 rushing yards the last two weeks combined. Alex Smith is also starting to find his wide receivers on deep routes, which is opening up the running game more and more. The Chiefs take on their bitter rivals next week, the Oakland Raiders in a huge AFC West game.

2. Brock Osweiler

Peyton Manning fantasy owners may not like it, but Brock Osweiler is here to stay. There's really no reason to risk playing Manning given his age and injury status. The Broncos have now won two games in a row with Osweiler starting, and they take on the San Diego Chargers next week. Osweiler has thrown four touchdowns and two interceptions this season, and he's reading defenses like a veteran. Osweiler should be available in just about every Fantasy Football league, and he has plenty of reliable targets to throw to such as Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.

3. Thomas Rawls

There's never a shortage of running backs on the waiver wire. This is similar to the Osweiler and Manning situation in Denver. The Seattle Seahawks got a crucial victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers over the weekend with Thomas Rawls having another solid game. Marshawn Lynch is one of the best running backs in the league, but he's going to miss some time because of a sports hernia injury. Rawls has eclipsed the 80-yard rushing mark four times this season despite having just two total carries the first two weeks of the season. It's obvious at this point Rawls fits the system and he's here to stay.

4. C.J. Anderson

At the end of last season C.J. Anderson was one of the most productive running backs in the entire NFL. It's been a pretty disappointing season so far for Anderson, but he's starting to find his rhythm. He had a season high 113 rushing yards and two touchdowns against the New England Patriots, and the Denver Broncos take on the San Diego Chargers next week. The Chargers rush defense ranks 26th in the league in yards given up, so this could be a great matchup. Anderson has also averaged more than four yards per carry the last five consecutive games.

5. Scott Chandler

There's still no telling how long Robert Gronkowski will be out for, but just to play it safe, go ahead and grab tight end Scott Chandler while you can. He's not going to be able to fully replace the production of "Gronk," but Chandler knows the system. Chandler ranks third on the team in receiving touchdowns behind only Gronkowski and Julian Edelman, who are both currently injured. Against the Denver Broncos in Week 12, Chandler had a season high 58 receiving yards. With Edelman, Danny Amendola and possibly Gronkowski out, you can bet Chandler will get more balls thrown his way from Tom Brady.
