The multiplayer beta for Uncharted 4 is set to begin on Friday. Reports said it is going to be available only for owners of "The Nathan Drake Collection."

Officially titled Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, the open world, action-adventure third-person shooter game's official release date is slated for March 18, 2016. And to prepare for its market launch early next year, game developer Naughty Dog will be releasing first the multiplayer beta on Friday, Dec. 4, as specified on a list posted on US PlayStation blog.

Meanwhile, the Community Strategist from Naughty Dog, Eric Monacelli, recently shared that the game studio will use "everything" the company learned from the Uncharted games that were released before. "It's the final chapter for Nathan Drake, so we're going out with the best and everything we've learnt from past Uncharteds will be put into this one," he said, as recently cited on PlayStation Lifestyle.

The official website of the game explained that the story of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is set three yearas after Uncharted 3's events. "On the hunt for Captain Henry Avery's long-lost treasure, Sam and Drake set off to find Libertalia, the pirate utopia deep in the forests of Madagascar."

In this game, players will be embarking on a "journey around the globe, through jungle isles, urban cities and snow-capped peaks on the search for Avery's fortune," the description further noted.

A separate report from PlayStation Lifestyle shared that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will run on 900p resolution at 60 frames per second.

Meanwhile, those who want to know more about the last installment to the series, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, will get interesting details from the upcoming PlayStation Experience 2015. Naughty Dog is inviting everyone to join their creative director, Neil Druckman, together with the cast members of the game during the PlayStation event set to happen this December.

During Uncharted 4: Stories from the Performance Capture Set, Druckman and the cast will "discuss the process of bringing the characters of Uncharted 4 to life," the official website noted. Uncharted fans will also see what it is like to be on the performance capture set.

In addition to this, the PlayStation Experience 2015 event for Uncharted 4 will also feature cinematic clips as well as behind-the -scenes videos that has not been released before.
