The wait for the next episode of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is almost over and there is no bounds to the amount of comedy that is about to come.

Episode 9, titled "The Swedes," will be back from hiatus, airing this Sunday, Dec. 6 on broadcast network Fox at 8:30 p.m. EST, according to TV Guide.

There is no end to the amount of comedy that will be featured in the next episode when the unit catches a case with international ties, which sets up a detective-style grudge match between two nations.

According to Spoilers Guide, Jake and Rosa get the assignment and they are primed and ready to work with a team of investigators from Sweden. That is just the start of the situation though because Jake and Rosa both quickly get caught up in the international rivalry.

Suffice it to say that they go in hoping to solve the case, which has been part of an international investigation now for quite some time. But there are bragging rights at stake here and there is no worse way to lose those rights than to the Swedes.

So they all work together, but the situation starts to unfold like a comical movie when they start competing against each other. But it is good to see Jake and Rosa putting their heads together for a common interest.

There is also a big test coming for Gina and she is less than prepared for it. Amy and Terry want to do what they can to help her get ready, but she is less than receptive to their offer. Nevertheless, they still help her pull it off, even if had a funny way of getting there.

Captain Holt is also primed for an annual squash tournament, but his partner backs out on him at the last minute. That's okay though because he has a perfect substitute in mind, Charles.
