KH3 fans excited the release of Kingdom Hearts 3 will have a chance to experience the game even before its actual market launch. Though official release date has not been announced yet, it was recently announced that a sneak peek for KH3 will be available via Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue for the PS4.

GameRant reported that KH3's gameplay elements will be demoed in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue, as revealed by the game director himself, Tetsuya Nomura. Because of this, fans will be able to experience a bit of the highly-anticipated Kingdom Hearts installment.

As noted in the GameRant report, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is an HD remastered collection of several KH titles. Fans who will purchase this collection will be able to experience Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage, starring Aqua.

According to the report, Birth by Sleep is "designed to play similarly to Kingdom Hearts 3, and will be as long as one world in the other games."

Also included in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is the HD remake of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It will also feature a short film called "Kingdom Hearts Chi Back Cover."

The official Kingdome Hearts 3 release date has not been revealed yet. However, the game director previously cited the game engine as the reason for the delay in development for Kingdom Hearts 3. "The transition was quite a process," Tetsuya Nomura, game director, shared adding that they "pretty much had to start from the ground again."

 "We had to make sure that we could recreate our key effects in the Unreal Engine and that the effects we specifically needed for Kingdom Hearts could be adapted," he further shared about Kingdom Hearts 3's development.

"Kingdom Hearts 3," according to the official Square Enix website, will feature an older Sora going on adventures. Of course, he will be accompanied by popular Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck and more.

KH3 "will harness next generation console technologies to weave together an incredibly stunning universe full of new and familiar Disney worlds," the post described.

Speaking of Disney worlds, a previous report from Latin Post noted that Kingdom Hearts 3 will feature various worlds including "Big Hero 6." It is also possible that characters from Toy Story will be part of KH3.
