Holland Taylor and Sarah Paulson are dating, according to sources confirming the rumor.

The 72-year-old "Two and a Half Men" actress revealed she's in a relationship with a woman, but failed to name the person, during a recent podcast appearance, according to People. Several sources have confirmed the mystery woman to be 40-year-old "American Horror Story" actress Sarah Paulson.

"It's the most wonderful, extraordinary thing that could have ever possibly happened in my life," Holland said on WNYC's "Death, Sex & Money" podcast.

During the podcast, Holland said she didn't want to reveal the identity of her partner. Still, she said the person was considerably younger than her and that they are talking about possibly getting married in the future.

"Given my generation it would not be something that would automatically occur to me," Taylor said of the marriage talk with her partner. "But as a symbol, as a pledge, as a plighting one's troth, it would be a wonderful thing to do."

Taylor said she would rather not make her sexuality the subject of a political debate. She added she's been "out" for some time and doesn't see any reason to flaunt it.

If the rumors are true, Taylor wouldn't be the first older woman Paulson has dated. In the past, she dated 59-year-old actress Cherry Jones for five years, before they called it quits in 2009. Paulson spoke with PrideSource last month and wanted to refrain from putting a "label" on her sexuality as well.

"All I can say is, I've done both, and I don't let either experience define me," Paulson said. "I don't let having been with a man make me think I am heterosexual, or make me want to call myself that, because I know I have been attracted to women -- and have lived with women. So, for me, I'm not looking to define myself."

Taylor starred in the role of Evelyn Harper on "Two and a Half Men" from 2003 to 2015. Paulson has starred on "American Horror Story" since 2011, playing different roles in each of the show's five seasons.
