Rev. James David Manning, the infamous Harlem pastor known for using homophobic slurs and viciously attacking President Barack Obama, has announced his plans to organize supporters for Donald Trump's presidential campaign.

On Wednesday, Manning, who has been dubbed the "Hate Pastor of Harlem," praised the GOP front-runner and pledged to help him win the White House in 2016.

"It's gonna be an uphill battle, I will tell you that now, but we're going to have a Harlem for Donald Trump," said Manning, who runs the notorious Atlah World Missionary Church on Lenox Ave, the New York Daily News reports.

Manning made the announcement after attending a meeting with Trump and dozens of other black pastors at the Trump Tower earlier this week. Following the meeting, the pastor declared that Trump will help black people escape the "abyss" created by former President Bill Clinton and the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

"Mr. Trump realizes why black people are going to vote for him. He is truthful - forget about him not being politically correct. He loves America, I believe that he does," he said, according to Reuters.

The controversial reverend has been under fire for displaying hateful billboards outside of his church.

For instance, one billboard stated, "Obama Has Released The Homo Demons On The Black Man, Look Out Black Woman, A White Homo May Take Your Man."

Back in June, he displayed an anti-gay message addressed to LGBT rights supporters that read, "Cursed be thou with cancer, HIV, syphilis, stroke and madness."

Manning has also compared Obama to Adolf Hitler and has frequently claimed that the president is a closeted gay man.

In a YouTube video, he is seen calling LGBT activists "f*gg*ts" and black gay men "n*gg*r f*gg*ts" during a "Love Not Hate" rally outside of his church in November.
