Lamar Odom's Las Vegas drug overdose has left many convinced the former NBA star will never again be the same.

While the consensus is Odom has come a long way in his recovery since being found unresponsive and bleeding from the nose and mouth at the Love Ranch brothel earlier this year, a source tells RadarOnline he remains far from being healthy.

"The most difficult aspect of Lamar's recovery, apart from learning to walk, has been dealing with the ongoing incontinence," a source added. "He has been unable to control his bladder muscles and the urge to go. He refuses to wear an adult diaper, and is going through numerous pairs of underwear daily."

Word is the 36-year-old, two-time NBA champion has tried to hide his bladder condition from visitors and all his soiled underwear is sent out to a laundry service on a daily basis.

"Doctors are hopeful that as Lamar continues to recover, the incontinence won't be an issue," said a source.

In the meantime, everyone has tried to remain supportive of Kobe Bryant's former L.A. Lakers teammate. Over the recent Thanksgiving holiday, he received visits from ex-girlfriend Liza Morales and the two children they share.

Odom apparently caught a big break recently when speculation grew that Nye County prosecutors will not seek to criminally charge him with drug charges stemming from all the Las Vegas drama.

For much of the early part of his hospitalization, Khloe Kardashian was at her estranged husband's bedside around the clock. But through it all, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has kept her romance with current NBA star James Harden afloat.

The two were recently spotted hanging out in Houston together and later the reality TV star was spied court-side at one of his Houston Rockets games.
