WWE SmackDown Spoilers Results for April 21, 2016: London Show With Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens Main Event
The WWE is still in Europe and finished its latest "SmackDown" taping in London.
MizTV
"SmackDown" had another edition of MizTV, featuring both The Miz and Maryse. The segment's special guest AJ Styles, who defended himself against the surprise attacks by Luke Gallows and Doc Anderson on Roman Reigns during the last "Monday Night Raw." After Miz tries to dispute Styles and then attempts to doing some acting lessons, Styles attacks Miz to end the segment.
The main event is then promoted on the screen: Dean Ambrose and Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens. It's also announced that Miz will fight Styles later in the show.
United States Champion in Action
In a "WrestleMania" preshow rematch, Ryback fought United States Champion Kalisto. The match, however, was a non-title match. Ryback would win the match with the Shellshock.
Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler
The action continued with Dolph Ziggler taking on Baron Corbin, but the match never started due to the latter attacking the Cleveland native from behind. Corbin was asked why he attacked Ziggler, stating, "Because I can."
Miz vs. Styles: Redux
Not skipping a beat, "SmackDown" refocused on Miz and Styles for their one-on-one match. Near the end of the match, Miz tries to leave the match until he's blocked by Gallows and Anderson. Miz returns to the ring and encounters Styles' Phenomenal Elbow for the pinfall victory.
After the match, and it's unknown if it'll air on Thursday, Shane McMahon appeared to say hello to the London crowd. Miz was frustrated at Shane for not treating him as a priority. Miz poked Shane despite saying not to touch him. In the end, Shane delivered several punches on The Miz to end the segment.
Women's Action
In tag-team competition, Natalya and Paige defeated Naomi and Tamina.
Golden Referee
R-Truth defeated Fandango, while Goldust served as referee. The match featured comedic moments, mainly dancing.
"And You Can't Teach That"
Enzo Amore and Big Cass came to the ring with a big pop, but they were interrupted by former NXT Tag Team Champions The Vaudevillians. The two aforementioned tag teams exchanged promos and are set to compete in a No. 1 contender match for The New Day's WWE Tag Team Championship at "WWE Payback."
Main Event
Finally, it was main event time with Ambrose and Zayn losing to Jericho and Owens in a very good match.
"WWE SmackDown" airs weekly on Thursdays on the USA Network at 8 p.m. EST.
