Colombian actress Carolina Ramírez thrilled all her followers (and series addicts) after confirming that there will be a third season of 'La Reina del Flow'.

The telenovela that combines melodrama with the world of reggaeton broke records in her country, and it is also one of the most watched Spanish-language productions on Neftlix.

Since the second season ended, fans have been desperately asking for another season. And there is news about the next one. Here are the details.

The news was revealed by the actress herself through a video on her social networks, where she shared that she had just signed her contract for the new season of the series. In her Instagram stories, Ramírez commented:

"I'm stopping to give you the news that many already know, but would like to confirm through myself. Three days ago I signed, so there is a third season of 'La Reina del Flow', let's see what happens. I don't even have the first chapter, I have no idea what it's going to be about. Maybe something very important will happen with Yeimy, maybe not. I don't know anything, but I signed on, there's so much desire, that in the end, I did it."

Although there is still no more information about the plot of this new installment or an exact premiere date, it is speculated that the third season could be released in 2025.

What is 'La Reina del Flow' about?

For those who have not yet seen either of the two previous seasons, let us tell you: 'La Reina del Flow' is a Caracol Televisión series that mixes music, action and... a lot of drama. The story follows the life of Yeimy Montoya, a talented composer and singer who, after being cheated by the person she trusted the most, is unjustly imprisoned.

After serving her sentence, Yeimy embarks on a journey full of justice and redemption, facing her enemies and dealing with her super painful past. The series resonated with fans for having a dynamic narrative and for presenting a unique look into the world of urban music and the challenges faced by artists in the industry.

'La Reina del Flow' first premiered in 2018 on Caracol TV and managed to captivate not only the Colombian audience but its success spread to other countries, thanks to the acquisition of the novela by Telemundo and Netflix.

The second season arrived in 2021, closing with a plot where Yeimy, consolidated as a star of urban music, chooses not to renew her relationship with Juancho (who was in love with her since her adolescence) and receives back the rights to her songs from Charlie (the ex and villain of the story).

Since the second season ended in 2021, Carolina Ramirez, who plays Yeimy, has remained active in TV, film and theater. But although she has not been out of sight these years, without a doubt her return to 'La Reina del Flow' marks one of the most awaited moments by her fans.
