Pres. Trump and his administration have been persistent in reaching for another stimulus package that they wanted to deliver before the election. But after a series of negotiations even offering the Democratic party nearly $2 trillion, Pelosi continued to reject the stimulus offer.

The White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow accused Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday for the impasse of the stimulus negotiation.

He said that Pelosi is willing to strike the stimulus deal and unwilling to compromise on key issues. He also added that the relief may not be delivered before the election.

Kudlow criticized the letter that Pelosi sent to the U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, according to a published report in Fox News.

The letter entails asking the Trump administration to respond to Democrats' latest offer. He also revealed that the letter was first sent to a news outlet before it was handed to Mnuchin.

Kudlow said, "Somehow, I guess it's a mystery, that letter got to Politico before it got to the secretary. Our team now believes that the Speaker has no intention of compromising on key issues. She is stringing us along," He accused Pelosi of delaying the stimulus negotiations.

Meanwhile, an aide from the Democratic House Speaker said that the letter was sent to the staff of Steven Mnuchin at around 12:05 a.m. or just an hour before a news outlet published it on Thursday morning. Recently, Pelosi also said that new provisions of the stimulus package will be offered after the election.

However, Pres. Donald Trump wants the stimulus package to b approved before the election. Overall, the Trump administration has offered five stimulus package and the last offer was nearly $2 trillion but as expected Pelosi rejected it again.

In a published article in The Hill, Kudlow questioned Pelosi's seriousness over another stimulus package

"We continued to negotiate in good faith. This letter that got public before it got to the secretary is the wrong, bad form. But most importantly, they show no evidence of compromising on the very key issues. So, we'll perhaps have to wait. I don't think this recovery depends on the assistance package per se, but I do think ... unemployment assistance, PPP [Paycheck Protection Program], small business assistance, helping the schools, that could have helped a lot and it's not going to happen."

Meanwhile, Pelosi's letter to Mnuchin included areas where Democratic leaders are awaiting a response from the White House. These are funding for state and local governments and schools and language on a national testing strategy. It seems in her letter that the two sides are still far from reaching the deal.

Moreover, both parties are pointing fingers with each other as to who to blame for the impasse of the stimulus negotiation. Despite this, economic adviser Larry Kudlow said that the country's economy is gaining in the third quarter. He also said that the fourth quarter is as strong as the third.
