Dylan Bundy puked his guts out because of the intense New York heat against the Yankees in mid-game.

Bundy Not Feeling Too Good

TMZ reported that Bundy puked all over the pitcher's mound on Monday, June 29, when he couldn't take the heat and was visibly unwell. The 28-year-old struggled to keep it together as he pitched in the first few batters of the game. Eventually, he gave up four hits and two runs.

Late in the 2nd inning was where Bundy was not looking too good. Video from the showed that Bundy sweated profusely that his hat was covered by water. The Angels pitcher then proceeded to vomit several times on the mound and the grass, after which a trainer came to check on his well-being.

The pitcher was then escorted out of the game and couldn't continue playing for the duration of the match. It's said that he was suffering from heat exhaustion and that it was a fiery 90 degrees Fahrenheit or 32 degrees Celsius during the time of the game.

As Bundy's health was visibly fading, Jose Suarez, another pitcher for the Angels, had begun to warm up in the bleachers for the inevitable to happen. Together with his teammates, he came from an early two-run lead by the Yankees to win the game 5-3.

Heat Exhaustion in the MLB

There have been many instances of heat exhaustion from Major League Baseball or MLB, and it's been recorded a number of times. The most recent instance before Dylan Bundy came from Beau Burrows from the Tigers because of the same reason.

Detroit Tigers pitcher Burrows tried as he could to stay on playing but was pulled out after coaches and trainers had told him to take a walk. The event sent Burrows to Triple-A status, meaning that he must work twice as hard to get back into the mound.

Heat Exhaustion is A Major Concern

Experts have stated that heat exhaustion has a lot of symptoms that can compromise a person's well-being. Symptoms include having goosebumps with moist cold, moist skin in the presence of heat, excessive sweating, dizziness, fatigue, headache, and more.

If ever you suspect heat exhaustion, you should remove yourself from the heat and find a well-covered area or air-conditioned place. If possible, lay down and elevate your legs as well as your feet slightly. Try to remove any clothing that you can to allow air to properly circulate through your entire body and, most importantly, hydrate with water.

If you still aren't feeling relieved from the aforementioned within an hour, ask for help immediately and call for a doctor if you can before succumbing to either seizures, fainting, and a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, as your health will fail dramatically after that.
