Antonio Brown Slams Buccaneers With X-Ray Proof, Fires Shots at Tom Brady
Tampa Bay Buccaneers has once again received criticism from its former wide receiver Antonio Brown with his recently uploaded X-ray photo on Instagram. Brown has also thrown shade at his ex-teammate Tom Brady, who recently retired.
Brown made claims with the recently uploaded X-ray photo, saying that he was forced by the team play despite being hurt, according to The Spun report.
He also fired shots at former quarter-back Tom Brady, claiming that his recently retired former teammate said he would throw him the ball if he played hurt.
However, he said that Brady lied to him and did not throw him the ball. He then said that he was forced to play while being lied to.
Antonio Browns' Allegations Against Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Brown continued to say that Buccaneers' coach Bruce Arians made him play despite being injured. He said that Arians told him that if he could not run on this, he should "get the f*** out of there, according to a CBS Sports News report.
Brown has repeated his claims that Arians made him play with an injured ankle. However, Arians continues to deny that version of events.
Brown also accused Brady of being his friend only because he is good at football during his feature on the Full Send Podcast in late January.
The former wide receiver said that not everybody in the sports industry will be a friend.
Meanwhile, senior NFL reporter for Yahoo Charles Robinson tweeted that Brown's claims that he was being forced to play after the Jets game was not true.
Robinson said that the date on the X-ray photo aligns after a Thursday-nighter versus the Eagles.
Buccaneers' wide receiver Mike Evans commented on Brown's allegations, according to a Yahoo Sports tweet.
Evans said that he can remember the team trying Brown to get him to come back in the game.
Arians has claimed that Brown not getting the ball is what caused the receiver's outburst.
Antonio Brown's Exit From Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Brown left Buccaneers in the middle of the team's Week 17 game against the Jets. He continuously accused the team of covering up its knowledge of his injured ankle.
Brady then offered support for Brown, while urging others to "do what they can" to help the former Buccaneers' wide receiver in the way he really needs it, according to a Sports Illustrated report.
Brady has also earlier advocated for Brown in the past to get him on the rosters of the Patriots and the Tampa Bay team.
However, Brown questioned why he was not getting more money from the Bucs if Brady was trying trying to help him make it in the team.
When Brown left the team, Brady also expressed public support. He then urged those not to rush to judgment on Brown's actions and decisions.
Brady said at the time that he and Brown have been teammates and that he loves him, cares about him, and that he has a lot of compassion.
