Kanye West Named Suspect in Battery Investigation After Grabbing, Throwing Woman's Phone
Kanye West is reportedly facing a battery investigation after getting into an argument with a photographer that intensified into grabbing and throwing off the woman's phone.
In the video, Kanye can be seen upset and accusing the woman of stalking him while she keeps recording him, TMZ reported.
"You're a celebrity!" the woman exclaimed. However, it was not enough for Kanye as he grabbed the woman's phone and threw it into the street.
After that, the rapper entered his SUV, where his new wife, Bianca Censori, was waiting.
Deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff's Department were reportedly called to the location at around 4:30 p.m. Officers were provided video as proof of the incident, a law enforcement source told TMZ.
It is still being determined whether the woman is a photographer or a citizen interested in just taking videos of the rapper.
The incident, which happened near a sports complex where North West had a scheduled basketball game, reportedly resulted in Kanye West being named a suspect in a battery probe.

Kanye West Introduces North West to His New Wife Bianca Censori
On Sunday, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's eldest child, North West, was seen having dinner with her father and his new wife, Bianca Censori.
Images from The Daily Mail showed Kanye and Bianca waiting for North at Nobu in Malibu, California. A security team dropped North and one of her friends at the Japanese restaurant.
A non-legal marriage ceremony between Kanye and Bianca reportedly happened in Beverly Hills about two weeks before the family outing.
According to Page Six, the Kardashian family was "confused and concerned" when they heard the "wedding" news.
"The family isn't taking this as a marriage yet... They don't know what it is. They aren't sure if it is a PR stunt," a source told the outlet.
"They are waiting to see if he files for papers. They are nervous because if it's real, she would be in the children's life," the insider added.
Kanye West and Bianca Censori's Secret Wedding
Kanye West and Bianca Censori reportedly had a private wedding ceremony earlier this month, though it appeared they still needed to register their marriage for legalities.
Nonetheless, the rapper still reportedly treats her as his wife. The couple recently showed up at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills, and Kanye was seen wearing a wedding ring.
Sources told TMZ the ring was a symbol of his commitment to Bianca following the ceremony. Bianca, an Australian architectural designer, has worked at Yeezy for years.
Kanye and Bianca's reported private wedding happened nearly two months after finalizing his divorce from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
Kim and Kanye married in 2014 and settled their divorce filings by the end of November last year. The two got joint legal and physical custody of their four children.
Censori, who bore a striking resemblance to the reality star before cutting and dying her hair blond, has not been in Kim's "good book" since joining Yeezy full-time in 2020.
"Kim hates her. [She] has a bad opinion of her... This woman has done stuff to make herself look like Kim," a source told Page Six.
