Ryan Gosling became Eva Mendes' husband after they secretly got married, which was confirmed by the Latina actress herself. 

Mendes and Gosling have been together for more than a decade, but their marriage ceremony managed to stay under the radar, with most people not even knowing they were married.

The Hollywood A-List couple has maintained absolute privacy and even controls what the public knows about their relationship. However, after years of secrecy, Mendes confirmed that she and the "Barbie" actor were already married. 

According to Glamour, the two have been together since 2011 after meeting on the "The Place Beyond the Pines" movie set. But while they have kept their relationship under wraps, the couple still show public displays of affection occasionally.

Ryan Gosling Confirmed to be Eva Mendes Husband Only in 2022

As years passed, people knew that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling were together and shared two daughters, Esmeralda Amada and Amada Lee.

However, many still did not know if they were married because of how well they kept it a secret until last year when Mendes seemingly confirmed that they were married, a rumor that's been circulating for ages.

During her appearance on Channel Nine's "Today" last November to talk about her charity work in Australia, Mendes accidentally called Gosling her "husband." Gosling was also in Australia at the time to film his new movie, "The Fall Guy." 

"Everyone is so welcoming here and my husband Ryan is here and we are having the best time," the actress told hosts Karl Stefanovic and Allison Langdon, as Elle Magazine reported.

She also appeared on Australia's "Kyle and Jackie O Show," where she was asked if she and Gosling had already secretly tied the knot, to which Mendes answered: 'But who says we weren't already? I like to keep it all mysterious. I'm a very mysterious woman."

This comment came days after Mendes showed off her inner wrist tattoo on Instagram, which reads "de Gosling."

The couple have two lovely daughters. In September 2014, Eva Mendes and her husband, Ryan Gosling, had their first child together, Esmeralda Amada.

During his 2017 speech after winning a Golden Globe for his performance in "La La Land," Gosling broke their usual veil of secrecy and announced that Mendes was pregnant with their second child. That, of course, was Amada Lee, who is now six.

Eva Mendes' husband has since opened up about parenting his two daughters, saying it was tough for them to be separated from other children during the quarantine period as the pandemic happened.

As for Mendes, the "Hitch" actress confirmed that she and her husband split their household responsibilities, with Gosling being the cook of the house.
