Kenneth Chesebro, the man behind Donald Trump's fake electors scheme, was one of the most high-profile flips in Georgia. However, he may be cooperating in other cases as well and adding to the former president's mounting legal problems.

Chesebro is facing multiple charges across the US over his role in Donald Trump's attempts to overturn the 2020 election results. However, to get out of his own legal problems, Chesebro flipped on Trump and has been cooperating not just in Georgia but in other states as well.

MSNBC reported that he is trying to stop even more charges being brought against him by cooperating with investigations against fake electors and other election interference plotters in key battleground states, including Michigan. His cooperation with these cases across the country may ultimately affect Trump's legal proceedings as his testimonies in those other cases may be used against him.

Chesebro was a lynchpin of Trump's efforts to overturn the election results, suggesting to him the fake electors scheme where Trump allies tried and failed to install a slate of fake electors to vote for Trump in key battleground states like Georgia, Arizona, and Michigan, instead of the true winner of those states, Joe Biden.

It was Chesebro who continued urging Trump to keep hope alive until January 6, even though it was clear that the legal efforts to reverse the votes had failed. Leaked recordings showed that Trump was briefed about the fake electors plot failing, but it was Chesebro who egged him on.

Paul Ryan Calls Donald Trump an Authoritarian Narcissist

Despite his mounting legal problems, Donald Trump continues to be the frontrunner for the Republican nomination for the 2020 election as his supporters continue to believe that he did nothing wrong despite the increasing amounts of evidence and the lack of solid evidence proving his innocence.

Some of the more moderate Republicans are now sounding the alarm, including former House Speaker Paul Ryan, who slammed the former president and said that Trump is not a conservative.

In an interview, Ryan stated that Trump's tendencies "are basically where narcissism takes him, which is whatever makes him popular, makes him feel good at any given moment," adding that "He doesn't think in classical 'liberal-conservative' terms. He thinks in an authoritarian way. And he's been able to get a big chunk of the Republican base to follow him because he's the culture warrior."

"Trump's not a conservative. He's an authoritarian, a narcissist...Adam and Liz stepped out of the flow and called it out and paid for it with their careers," he added, referring to former conservative lawmakers turned liberal allies Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.

Ohio GOP in Dilemma After Tapes of Republican Candidate Criticizing Trump Surface

Trump has been so ingrained in the GOP that criticizing him could amount to political career suicide for any Republican wanting to win a primary. This is shown in Ohio after the state's Republican Party has been stuck in a dilemma after one of their top candidates was caught on tape slamming the 4-times indicted former president.

Former state legislator Craig Riedel is seeking to beat J.R. Majewski, a man who lied about being on combat duty in Afghanistan, for the Republican nomination. The party is now stuck with a difficult choice on who should challenge veteran Democratic Rep. Marcy Kaptur for her House seat as Majewski is a proven liar and might get them another "George Santos Situation" while Riedel was the one recorded bashing Trump, calling him "arrogant" and vowing not to endorse the former president, according to Politico.
