Donald Trump lawyer Alina Habba has often been ridiculed by legal experts and late-night comedians over her lack of knowledge concerning legal matters, which she should do as a lawyer. Her latest antics are fanning those flames once again as she did not seem to know some courtroom basics, leading to the judge to scold her for the third day in a row.

Habba mostly acted as a spokesperson for Donald Trump's legal team. However, after the high-profile exit of Joe Tacopina, Habba was thrust into becoming the lead attorney for the former president during the E. Jean Carrol rape trial, and this has led her to getting scolded over her antics and her lack of knowledge about courtroom decorum.

During day 3 of the Donald Trump rape trial, Habba tried to enter Carroll's old tweets into evidence multiple times. However, this led to objections from Carroll's lawyers, which were then sustained by Judge Lewis Kaplan every single time. These repeated attempts at introducing evidence that was not initially filed frustrated the judge, leading him to once again scold the Trump attorney, according to The Independent.

Judge Kaplan had to ask Habba to "move on" multiple times, but she kept trying to enter unlisted evidence multiple times during her cross-examination of plaintiff E. Jean Carroll. She kept doing this until Judge Kaplan told her, "This is evidence 101," telling her clearly that she might not have known how to submit evidence to court.

The trial is about additional damages Trump will be paying to Carroll after once again defaming her after she won the case last year, where a jury found the former president liable of defaming the former Elle Magazine writer in statements he made in 2022 when he was not president anymore and thus not protected by presidential immunity.

Donald Trump Antics Not Working on Judge in Rape Trial

Donald Trump's antics in court have been described as political theater as he turns his testimony into his usual campaign speeches about judges and prosecutors being out to get him. While these speeches usually work with his MAGA crowd, they are not working on Judge Lewis Kaplan, who has repeatedly reprimanded the former president during the two days he attended his rape trial.

As MSNBC noted, this is evident in the exchange between the judge and Trump, where the judge threatened to kick the former president out of his courtroom.

"Mr. Trump has the right to be present here. That right can be forfeited and it can be forfeited if he is disruptive and if he disregards court orders. Mr. Trump, I hope I don't have to consider excluding you from the trial, I understand you are very eager for me to do that." he told Trump in a fiery exchange, showing that he is not afraid of the former president's usual threats and bravado.

Nikki Haley Calls Donald Trump Out Over Birther Claims

Trump is also busy campaigning in New Hampshire, and on the campaign trail, he started spreading birther conspiracy theories regarding Nikki Haley not being a US citizen, which he previously did for Barack Obama.

Haley soon fired back, though, saying, "I know President Trump well...That's what he does when he feels threatened," This happened right after Trump addressed her by her real Indian name, Nimarata, which was sure to rile up many in his white conservative base.
