Andrew Tate, Infamous Internet Personality, Arrested Again After Adin Ross Revealed Escape Plans During Stream
Infamous chauvinist internet personality and accused sex trafficker Andrew Tate was arrested in Romania again after his friend, popular streamer Adin Ross, inadvertently revealed Tate's escape plans during a live stream on the platform Kick.
According to Rolling Stone, Romanian police once again arrested the notorious sex trafficker along with brother Tristan Tate. The arrest came from a tip from the UK that the brothers were planning to escape Romania, with the tip coming after their friend, Adin Ross, read a message from Andrew Tate that he and his brother were planning to hang out with Ross after they leave Romania and never come back there ever again.
The firm representing four British women accusing Tate of rape and sexual assault, McCue Law, was the source of the tip. This led UK judicial authorities to issue a warrant for their arrests and extradition on sexual abuse charges.
"We were informed by one of our contacts that an associate of Tate (Adin Ross) had discussed Tate's intention to flee during a video on the gaming and livestreaming platform Kick," said the firm's representative in the statement.
During his stream, Ross was reading direct messages from Tate, saying, "Andrew had hit me up. He said, 'Hey, I'm gonna be leaving Romania soon and probably never coming back. If you want to come over and do a week of long streams and content before I leave, I think it'll be big. And it's never' - I'm sorry, he said, 'It's basically now or never."
"Again, guys, it might be the last time we ever do this. So it's kinda like, we gotta take advantage of it now. Because hey, it's basically, it's basically like that," added the streamer, who was previously kicked out of Twitch because of homophobic slurs and sexist comments he made.
Romanian Court Added Restrictions Against Andrew Tate and Brother After Latest Arrest
On Wednesday, a Bucharest Tribunal extended the restrictions that Tristan and Andrew Tate are facing as they await their trial on charges of human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women.
For a maximum of 60 days, Tate cannot leave the country. The Associated Press noted that the 37-year-old "red pill" influencer requested that he be able to travel within the European Union with the prior approval of a judge. However, with the restrictions, that is not happening, but he can still appeal the decision within 48 hours.
Romanian Court Rules Andrew Tate and Brother Can Be Extradited to the UK
While the Tate brothers have been temporarily released from custody pending their Romanian sex trafficking trial, they may face even more jail time as they may soon be extradited to the UK after the court proceedings in Romania wrap up.
A Romanian judge has ruled that the two can be extradited only after the conclusion of their separate trial in Romania on human trafficking charges. Following the ruling, Andrew Tate spoke with the BBC, saying, "The whole thing is garbage."
