On Monday's episode of "The View," Rosie O' Donnell revealed that she received a private message from an older woman in her 70s who allegedly confessed to O' Donnell that she had been raped by Bill Cosby in the past, Yahoo TV reports. 

"I got a private message from one of the Bill Cosby accusers," O'Donnell said on Monday morning's taping of "The View."

"Twenty-six women now have accused Bill Cosby. One of them wrote me privately. She is an older woman in her 70s and she lives in the Southwest and she has never been on camera and she was saying she knows at least one is true. Her. And she has sought no financial gain and wants no attention. So it's interesting that people who do come forward are sometimes seen as people having an alternate agenda."

O'Donnell's shocking revelation about her private message regarding Cosby was in response to "The View" panel's discussion about Rolling Stone's recent apology for its inaccurate reporting an alleged gang rape that occurred at a University of Virginia frat house, YahooTV reports. 

During the discussion, Whoopi Goldberg voiced her opinion that false reporting such as the one made in Rolling Stone are the reasons for her skepticism over the alleged Bill Cosby rape allegations.

Meanwhile, Rosie Perez expressed her opinion that parents of college boys should be responsible for educating their sons on proper etiquette towards women on college campuses.

"I do not understand the parents who do not tell their sons, 'Please don't be a rapist.' This is wrong. When you go to college, when you go anywhere, you be a gentlemen, you be a man about it and don't rape young women on campus," Perez said. 

In addition to "The View" co-hosts, many other celebrities have come forward to express their opinions on Cosby's allegations. 

Last week, Jill Scott was slammed by social media users for defending Cosby on Twitter and suggesting that his alleged rape victims were lying.

Comedian Faizon Love also defended Cosby on Twitter in a series of derogatory tweets in which he labeled Cosby's opposers as a slew of racist terms.

However, not all black celebrities have been so outspoken. Both singer Cee Lo Green and comedian Chris Rock have chosen to remain neutral in their opinions on the allegations.
