T-Pain Hot New Music Release & 'RevolveR' Album 2014: 'Up Down (Do This All Day)' Rapper Premieres 'Let Me Through' Without Auto-Tune Featuring Lil Wayne [Listen]
T-Pain finally released the full-length, high-quality official version of his latest single titled "Let Me Through" featuring Lil Wayne.
The Florida native first premiered the club-friendly track during his appearance on "Sway in the Morning" in early November while promoting his "Happy Hour: The Greatest Hits" LP.
The "Up Down" singer kicks off the new song released via his label Nappy Boy Entertainment with a boastful verse directed towards his haters.
"All I'm thinkin' 'bout is this trophy I'mma take home / Give 'em something they can hate on," he raps. "Confetti all over the place, girls poppin' out that cake holmes / And my skin tone should be the only thing you asking me about race holmes."
T-Pain then launches into the catchy chorus.
"And I'm like hold up, yeah, you got to let me through / Huh, yeah, uh, you got to let me through / And I stay ridin', ridin', you got to let me through / And my n---as stay slidin', slidin', so you got to let them too," he says.
Weezy then offers a fast-paced verse about metaphorically racing.
"Riding so fast with the top down / The wind sound like a standing ovation / Tunechi, fast and furious / I like my b---h fast and flirtatious," he spits.
The "Buy U a Drank" hitmaker, who is currently working on the upcoming follow-up to his fourth studio album "RevolveR," previously discussed what the first single from the album is all about.
"So 'Stoicville' is a quick tell-all -- airing everything out and letting my past be the past and basically starting anew," he told The Fader in November.
T-Pain also addressed his famous use of auto-tune.
"There was a time that a lot of people just didn't care to know whether I was talented or not anymore, once I got pigeonholed as the Auto-Tune guy and the whole epidemic of 'Auto-Tune sucks' became a thing," he added. "People dislike things because it's popular to dislike things."
