Luis Coronel dropped by "Sabado Gigante" to promote his album, "Quiero Ser tu Dueño," and the young singer ended up talking about his career and New Year's Eve plans.

Host Don Francisco told Coronel he remembered the last time he stopped by the Saturday night show, Coronel talked about how much his family struggled after his father died. They were left without a home, but he, who is the youngest of his siblings, took control.

His album is selling well, and his family is doing much better now.

"This album, thanks to God, has done very well," he said to Don Francisco. "It has many romantic songs. It's an honor to know that it's in first place in sales, knowing that there are so many fans at home supporting me."

For 2015, he will continue touring, and he wants to continue moving forward with his career.

On Dec. 28, he had yet to lock down exact plans for New Year's Eve, but he did know that he would be spending time with his family.

He also said that food would play an important.

"[We'll eat] whatever my mom makes," he said. "It's always really delicious."

But if he had to pick his favorite thing, it would have to be enchiladas.

On Dec. 23, Coronel took to his Instagram account to wish his mother a happy birthday.

"Momma. I just want to wish you a happy birthday!" he said. "Thank you for being the strongest mom in the world. In spite of all the difficult things we have experienced in our lives, thank God, you have always given us the courage, the strength and the fortitude to move forward... Happy Happy Happy Birthday My Queen."
