DC seems to be dropping the ball (or constantly teasing the ball) with the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer.

While the teaser from Comic-Con has resurface online, and a trailer supposedly leaked on 4chan for a mere hour last week, it seems fans are being yanked around with this trailer business.

Originally, rumors had been circulating that the trailer might appear in front of "The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies." This would have made perfect sense as Warner Brothers is distributing both pictures and adding the "Batman v Superman" trailer would have helped boost end of year ticket sales, but alas this did not take place.

Now fans are trying to make the best educated guess possible as to when we might finally see the trailer. Logic currently points to the Super Bowl on Feb. 1, or before "Mad Max: Fury Road" in May. Fans are getting eager and increasingly anxious, though it helps to remind them all that the new DC movie is set for release in March of 2016, over a year away, and post production will likely be taking a very long time.

Marvel on the other hand has just released their first trailer for "Ant-Man" starring Paul Rudd set for release on July 17, 2015. In it we get our first glimpse at the comedic Rudd taking on the role of a superhero. It seems there is still no sure answer as to whether this will aim to be some sort of comedy-action mix, as Rudd is obviously known for his humorous roles. The trailer does feature two quips from Rudd, though they aren't exactly sidesplitting.

The trailer also features our first look at Michael Douglas in fairly heavy make-up as Hank Pym, the scientist responsible for Ant-Man.

"Ant-Man" is due out for release in July of 2015.
