Sofia Vergara, Joe Manganiello 2015: 'Modern Family' Star Talks About Hew New 'Sexy' Fragrance & Why Women Should Make the First Move
"Modern Family" star and highest paid TV actress Sofia Vergara talked to Latina about the inspiration behind her "sexy" fragrance.
Vergara's perfume, Sofia by Sofia Vergara, combines the sweet and sensual scents of blackberries, Colombian rose and orchids, sandalwood and plums.
The model and actress said she wanted to combine some of her favorite scents to make the perfect fragrance.
"I wanted to create a balance to the fruity and floral smells by bringing in more earthy tones which give the fragrance that sexy scent," she said.
The star tells lovers to get rid of all the distractions for the perfect Valentine's Day and just enjoy the presence of their significant other.
Vergara also said a woman should be confident enough to approach a guy first.
"If you want something, go get it," she said. "I think approaching a guy shows that you are a strong woman that sees herself as an equal."
The actress did not say exactly what she is doing for Valentine's Day but is sure to wear her fragrance for the special day.
Last year, Vergara, who is also an entrepreneur, canceled her celebrity licensing with Kmart, according to Upstart.
The retail store was in charge of selling her affordable apparel line.
"I am currently focusing on enhancing my brand on a global level and realized the time had come to move in a different direction," Vergara said at the time.
"I am very grateful for the experience and loved everyone's insight and appreciate all their efforts over the past four years."
The actress is also starring in a new comedy movie alongside Reese Witherspoon called "Hot Pursuit" about a cartel leader's wife who needs police protection.
Other actors in the movie include Jim Gaffigan, Anne Fletcher, Rob Kazinsky and John Carroll Lynch, Us Weekly reports.
"Hot Pursuit" will be released in theaters May 8.
